Andrea Sturdivant, a remarkable young girls’ basketball player, is making waves in the world of High School women’s basketball. Her exceptional skills on the court have not gone unnoticed, as multiple Division 1 colleges have begun scouting her for their teams. Andrea’s agility, scoring ability, and court vision have set her apart from her peers, making her a coveted prospect for these prestigious institutions. Her dedication to the game and her tireless work ethic have propelled her into the spotlight, and it’s no surprise that D1 colleges are vying for her talents. With a promising future ahead, Sturdivant is poised to become a rising star in the world of women’s college basketball.
During the 2022-2023 season, Sturdivant consistently scored an average of 15.5 points per game in her basketball performances.
And for the 2021-2022 season, Sturdivant scored and average of 17.1 points per game in her games.
During the off-season, Sturdivant and her team have been diligently honing their skills in the practice gyms through a series of small games. These intensive practice sessions are a testament to their commitment to improvement and teamwork, ensuring they’ll be well-prepared for the upcoming season. Sturdivant dedication to her craft and leadership within the team are driving factors behind their success, making them a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming basketball season.
“We have been practicing small games in the gym with each other,” Sturdivant said said.
This season, Sturdivant is working harder than ever to reach the Nationals and State Finals. She’s pushing herself and her team to the limit in practice, aiming for a shot at the Nationals and State Final. With Andrea’s leadership and their collective dedication, they’re on the right track to turn their dreams into reality.
“Our goal this season is to reach the National and State Final,” Sturdivant said.
Communication is a problem for the team. Players often struggle to talk and understand each other during games, leading to missed opportunities. The team is aware of this issue and is working on improving their communication through practice to become a more united group.
“The team’s biggest problem right now is communication with everyone we don’t talk loud enough with each other,” Sturdivant said.
