Ihsan Topuz, a standout soccer player for the high school team, has been making waves in the early stages of the season. His impressive performances on the field have not only caught the attention of teammates and coaches but have also contributed significantly to the team’s success. With skillful plays and a commendable work ethic, Topuz is proving to be a key player as the season unfolds.
Before the game, Topuz gets ready in his mind by imagining doing well on the field and thinking about the team’s plans. He stays positive by remembering past successes and focusing on what the team wants to achieve. To stay calm, he also practices simple techniques to stay in the moment.
“Before a game I mentally prepare myself and I’m in my zone,” Topuz said.
Scoring a goal makes Topuz feel amazing, like a burst of excitement running through him. The cheers from teammates and fans make it even better, and he enjoys knowing he helped the team win.
“The feeling after scoring is a feeling you can’t recreate. All the attention is on you and people applauding for you,” Topuz said.
Topuz plans how to score by watching the other team’s defense and finding their weak points. He looks for the best times to make a move, considering where the defenders and the goalie are. With smart decisions on the field, he increases his chances of scoring a goal.
“I just play with my instinct and trust in my teammates, that’s how I play well,” Topuz said.
