Austin wins their first football game

With the start of a new school year, the start of football season comes too. In a spectacular start to the season, last Saturday our Bulldogs worked hard and beat Livingston 24-14.
The football players have all been working and training tirelessly, and all their hard work has paid off. It wasn’t a pretty win, but they managed to pull through. Hopefully this win sets the tone for a promising season.
“It was a gritty win. Wasn’t pretty, week one, we got a lot to clean up and the kids battled,” said assistant coach Barlow. “We’re very proud of our kids, that was a gritty win.”
The big boys up front won the battle of the trenches which is key in a close game.
“It was definitely a lot closer than it should have been,” saidlineman Aidan Stecher. “But it was a bulldog W, so can’t complain.”
