With the season coming to a close, our girls water polo team had made it an amazing season making it all the way to the region quarter finals, setting a new record for the best season in school’s history.
“The girls really came together, with 20 plus members and they grew together, fought though injuries and absences to make it farther than any Fort Bend ISD team has made it.” Head coach Sean Brogan said.
In the end of the season, they were ranked No. 21 in Texas, and No. 59 in the nation.
The team had multiple star players such as Kim Kulow scoring the team a total of 142 points this season, Myrah Baig making 163 saves, and Avery Bibb scoring 61 goals.
“Kim Kulow was our team leader. Avery Bibb got her 200th career goal too,” Brogan added.
Overall, the team’s performance has been well over national averages in most categories throughout the season.
