As most of us have heard news anchor, Savannah Guthrie’s mother has been abducted from her home. The 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, a consistent church attendant, didn’t show one Sunday, and so the church contacted the family who then went out to her property only to find her missing.
On January 31, she was reported missing from her home in Tucson, Arizona after the family called the authorities. They reported to have found blood on the front porch and a front porch video. We can see the intruders face covered by a mask and their backpack which the police identified to be from Walmart.
There are some alleged ransoms notes which haven’t been confirmed except one; which was a fake which caused an arrest of a man in California. The family has responded by posting videos addressing the abductor directly stating that they will pay any amount. The family begs the abductor(s) to bring her as she has a pacemaker and does not have her medicine.
It has been 20 days since Nancy Guthrie was home and while the police search her property and investigate tips, her family struggles to deal with her absence. We wish Nancy a safe return home.
