All American Waterpolo Player: Kim Kulow

By: Gaurika Gupta, Managing Editor
Junior Kim Kulow has earned the title of All American Waterpolo Player for the 2024-
2025 season.
This title entails that if the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA)
were to put together teams to play, out of all of the United States of America, Kulow
would be placed in their fourth team.
“I feel super honored to be recognized,” Kulow said. “I’m also very grateful to my
coaches and teammates who have supported me since the beginning.”
With a record of leading her team to victory as the co-captain of the girls waterpolo
team, Kulow credits her team, coaches, and family for helping her secure this
accomplishment.
“Coach Brogan has always been pushing me to be the best version of myself. My
teammates are my motivation, I like to play for them and be the leader that they
deserve,” Kulow said. “My family is my foundation, they’ve been there for me since day
one. I look up to my older siblings a lot and I think their accomplishments have been the
perfect example for me to follow.”
With the season having just started off, Kulow has now set new goals for this year.
“My goal this year is to make it to at least the third round of play offs,” Kulow said. “I
hope to continue spreading the sport and teaching our younger players the game.”
