For years in the city of Houston, bayous have prevented us from going underwater and are the reason Houston is here today. Our foundation is atrading city but since 2017 bodies have been found near or in the bayous and in recent years these bodies have doubled in appearance. Citizens believe that it’s a serial killer while the authorities refute this and call it speculation.
According to the police there is no killer but to the citizens it’s a whole different story. They say it’s too many bodies in such a short period especiallyconsidering from September 15-20 a body was discovered each day. Authorities say there is noevidence of a serial killer. The only thing they have in common is being found in the bayous. They vary in age, and the people are in different stages of their lives, a college student to a 60-year-old man have been found in the bayou.
The authorities believe that majority of the bodies are the homeless population, drug abusers, and people who have committed suicide, but some bodies are so far decomposed, and the medical examiner’s office has been overloaded with the bodies from the bayous.
Overall, authorities advise to be safe and aware when around the bayous or avoid them all together.
